MT 270-50 Mule Deer hunt

wife drew 270-50 1st time she put in,,,,any thoughts on best times for rifle, i am thinking nov 12-20,

also doing some internet scouting looking for people that have drew before or have some knowledge, where to camp, do i need to bring my mules,

have maps on order and will be calling bio, next week,,,,,

hoping theres a 180 class buck there or a real wide buck, dont care about actual score

The deer are spread out over a really big area, and in order to find something special on public you'll need to cover a ton of ground.

I go down there almost every year the first week of December just to see what made it through the season, and the buck quality has been nosediving like crazy the last four years or so. Still some whoppers, but maybe a quarter as many as there was in the units hey day.
