Almost no one near me knows the difference between a goat and a ewe.

Mountain goats are an invasive species in those areas. Introduced, expanding and negatively affecting native bighorn sheep herds.

No wonder I couldn't find a mountain goat in the Beartooths when I had my tag. I was actually looking for sheep.

Did you see the newspaper article about the 'mountain goat' VS the mountain lion... (when it was actually a sheep) in glacier... both fell off a cliff.
