More Than One Way To...

There is more than one way to catch a trout. Every fish was caught with a little different method. All of them caught within the last week or so.

Caught this big old male by stripping an olive leech. He put up a great battle. Several times I thought he might win.

Caught this toad using a marabou jig and a jigging rod.

This mouthy bugger was fooled by a midge under an indicator.

Last but not least, I landed this one yesterday evening after work on a hare's ear nymph.

It's only taken a lifetime to learn how to catch trout more often than not. However I still get my rear handed to me some days.
