More Bear Pictures

I went back to the site of the dead elk to pick up the trail camera. It is unnerving to be in the lair of the bear, but I had to get the camera.

Here are a few more pictures of the bears, there was more than one..

Bet retrieving that camera got the heart rate up.
Did something similar… I caught my own shadow out the corner of my eye and almost juked myself out of my boots.

Looks like they cleaned up after themselves nicely. Glad to see those bears adhering to the “leave no trace” principle.

He absolutely dwarfs a full grown bull elk. Impressive.
