Montana Weather may be Interesting!

Well, opening day of rifle season is Sunday (the 24th). I looked at NWS forecast for SW Montanny and its looking like it could be GREAT weather! In the valleys, where the towns are they forecast for, they are calling for highs in the mid 30's with snow! Lows in the upper teens to low 20's. That ought to keep the elk out a little before they hit the dark timber. WooooHooo!

(Hopefully I dont have to chain up just to get to the bastages though!)

Yeah, you are right about that. I got new tires last year and didn't set my chains up for them, gonna go work on that right now!

The way forecasters go, it will probably be sunny and 70 at 9000 feet!
