I’d like to thank Exxon in their efforts to help manage our mule deer. At almost 6 dollars a gallon for diesel it could be an interesting hunting season for people. Glad I can fit a couple elk in the Subaru

You're right. The Subaru did ride nice. We had a real truck along just in case. mtmuley

On the farm and ranch only “trucks” we have are Peterbilt and Kenworth.
Everything else is a pickup or car.

Doesn't seem to be detouring many archery elk hunters in SE MT.

Can someone walk me through how the "hunter days" statistics are so widely trusted and harvest numbers arent?

It was the same phonecall.

The mental gymnastics is staggering. Especially because as previously mentioned "a day" has a variable non-definitive meaning. A harvest is concise.

Probably not. They get that permit to avoid gen units - where a majority of the people you see drove from a really long ways. Usually the midwest.

I dont think youll see hunters or people on general anymore cutting that kind of stuff out until it's too late and they're flat ass broke. Gotta keep up with everyone on social media. A good amount of them probably already have one foot in the grave and another on a banana peel as far as finances go to boot.

They're already make $900 payments on that truck at 7%. They aren't staying home as long as they have credit remaining.
