My wife and I both drew the 292-40 Mule deer permit again this year. We usually put in for it as I have some good private ground to hunt. The ground does not many mature deer and I want to kill our bucks on public ground this year,
She will be gun hunting hunting so terrain is not extremely important, but I fully plan on taking mine with a bow. We will be hunting the rut. Not looking for monsters, just respectable bucks. I need some good bowhunting terrain.
Can anyone offer a direction to head into? This unit is huge. We hunted previously around Drummond. Thanks
