An additional note: after I shot the moose, a 4 wheeler came down the road and this young lady and her husband stopped to look. She was so excited, she jumped off the 4 wheeler and was talking about how she had seen the whole thing.

She told me she watched me spotting the moose and the moose coming across the swamp to where I was able to shoot it. She watched the shot and saw the moose go down. She was almost as thrilled about it as I was. She wanted pictures with it and I was more than happy to oblige.

I was surprised to see someone else so thrilled with the kill that wasn’t her own...

That is a giant, congrats. I hunted moose this year near your area and never saw anything like that. You did great.
