Montana deer tags and conservation license question

My conservation license has a spot on in to sign . Says signature or applicant . My general deer tag does not , but my deer b tag does . So what’s deal ? If no spot to sign then we don’t need to ? Confused . Same with other guys tags in our group some have it some don’t
