Montana bighorn rut

Looking for some clarification on when the sheep rut begins, peaks, and ends in Montana. I've heard everything from now through the last weekend of rifle. That seems like a rather large window. Do sheep have a 2nd estrus like deer and elk that would cause those dates to span nearly 6 weeks?

Every ungulate breeding season will have multiple instances of estrus, unless there is maybe a 1:1 male to female ratio and they all get bred in the first estrus (highly unlikely).

The peak will be similar to mule deer. I’ve seen rams up around Gibson Reservoir in the middle of November that had about zero concept of self preservation.

It starts to kick the 1st week of Nov
