Money well spent

The other day I was in home depot and grabbed one of the little aluminum led flashlights next to the checkstand. When I got home I unwrapped it and gave it to my almost three year old. She was so excited to have her own flashlight. 5 of the 6 leds work and its not the brightest light I've seen but it works. The best part is of all the lights I have spent hundreds of dollars on over the years this is the only one I have used around the house. All I have to do is say I need a flashlight and in minutes the little light is delivered with a smile. She can't wait for the weather to warm up so she can take it camping. I almost didn't buy the thing because it was so cheap now I wish I had picked up two or three.

Cool - now she needs a compass, binocs & a multitool and she'll be ready for hunt'in....

Ditto that 6speed. I have 2 and 3 yr old boys. I have picked up a few of those same lights for them. No sharing, of course. What I like about the lights is when they drop them they don't do the same damage to the wood floors that a Mag light will do.

I'm a bit of a flashlight junkie. I know where she's coming from.

She has the binos I gave her a pair of 8x20 bushnells I bought in highschool. She will have to wait on the leatherman for a while she is still at the safety scissors and close supervision stage.
