MO snow goose hunt

I cant wait there are only 2 days left before we are killing geese. We are set and packed ready to go! I live in iowa and we are going to mound city MO. Does any one know how the snows are down there at the time?
We have seen some coming back north but wondering if they were early and if there are still a bunch down there? Thnx guys!

Have you spoke with your outfitter. Sounds like a lot of birds have left and hunting conditions around Mound have been tough this year. Let us know how you do.

I know of birds being killed on the nd/sd border.

Have heard of the birds already in Nebraska. With 50 degrees on Thursday they may be movin' further north.

Crop fields in proximity to the Itan power plant used to hold hundreds of thousands of snows and blues and most farmers were glad to let me hunt , but whether the birds are still there with warmer weather would require some scouting.

We just got back from MO...we did very bad the first day with only four. The second day was much better with fifty 2 in the bag by 1 in the afternoon. had a great time!!
