ML Bullets for bears?

I have a TC Omega. Does anyone have experience with good performing bullets for black bears? My gun shoots the TC Shockwave in 300 gr very well at 50-150 yards. My daughter will be shooting it at 20-30 yards over bait. I am not concerned with recoil, as she is an avid shooter. Wondering if I should switch to the Maxi-ball or Maxi-hunter for more weight? Any other bullet suggestions for black bears at close distances?

Black bears aren't hard to kill at all. I wouldn't change your set up.

If you're concerned about penetration and the bullet holding together, look for the TC Shockwave that's bonded. I had no idea they existed until I bought a package of them and read the labeling. By me the bonded version is around $3 more than the standard. Other than that, the set-up you have should be more than sufficient.
