Drake has been harassing me to take him fishing. He had our poles and tackle all loaded up in the truck and ready to go. Even though I've been busy it's hard to tell him no when the boy wants to get outside and go and wet a hook. So we hit a farm pond we fished late last summer and caught these male crappies in their black tuxedo getting ready for the spawn up close to the bank edges. We also caught a few largemouth bass that we threw back. The pond owner wants all of the crappy out. No problem sir!
These fish were so beautiful right now..
