Memphis, TN BBQ

I'll be passing through Memphis on my way to MS for a whitetail hunt after thanksgiving.

Wish I knew you were going there, cause there is some BBQ joint that the C-21 pilots schedule flights to Memphis for. But this homie be on vacation and isnt going in to work to find out

Stop at ''Whole hog cafe'' in Rusellville Ark. Beats anything i have ever had in Memphis.

I have found a few spots in the hill country of Tx. that may have been better, but looks like that would be out of your way.

Rendezvous for dry rub ribs, Blues City Cafe for wet ribs.

The BBQ Shop home of the Dancing Pigs, can't be beat.

Stopped at Rendezvous for some ribs, pork shoulder sammich and red beans and rice.

Not disappointed at all!!

I prefer a dry rib, and these were better than the KC ribs I had last night.

Next stop MS for 4 days of WT hunting. Then I'll be looking for BBQ in TX.

Sure do miss the BBQ in Texas when I was stationed at Ft Hood

I miss Whataburger too after the bars closed, but I'm too old for that now
