Please read if you are heading to the Med Bow/Routt this archery season.
I just got off the phone with Fish & Game in Laramie. I called them cuz I got bidness in that area in a couple weeks :hump:
About 1/3 of Unit 13 is closed and will remain closed for the entire Archery season due to fires. And the closure area may very well expand
even further because of the winds they are having. The closure area is much larger than normal because of the winds.
Beaver Creek Fire
All of Blackhall Mountain is closed. You can't even get near it. The closure area (as of right now) is at the peak of Bear Mountain, which is a few miles to the Northeast of Blackhall Mountain. Skyline Road is closed just to the North of the peak of Bear Mountain. That is as far south as you can get in that unit.
The Broadway Fire is happening to the West of Blackhall Mountain. This fire has grown a lot in the past couple of days and actually crossed Road #496.
