I don't know what kind of meat that is but.......Dam it looks good. I love to bbq back straps like that in foil with some other spices & onions...OMG is it good.
Meat...Its what's for dinner, lunch, or Breakfast...Hell anytime is a good time for a snack.

It's whitetail fawn from somewhere in SW MT. We spent the last 4 days down there. 8 of us took 28 deer. This was the quarter from one of the first ones. My father had been talking about a smoked whole quarter for a few months before the hunt, so we decided we'd take a full quarter and smoke it in the traeger.

turned out damned good.

Beer was Blackfoot Brown Ale and Kettle House Cold Smoke.

A Montana fawn is about the size of a full grown Florida buck.
