RMEF, TRCP, and BHA are definitely the champions of voicing opposition to federal and public land transfers. I have to give some credit to the Mule Deer Foundation as well, in there most recent newsletter this is an excerpt:
"We appreciate his support for improving how our government budgets for catastrophic wildfires. We also know that he has strongly opposed the sale or transfer of our federal lands and we applaud him for taking that position."
They go on to applaud Zinke as DOI pick. Being a Utah based organization I am glad to see MDF making there position more clear on the issue, especially when some other Utah based organization has made it clear they don't dare speak badly about the legislature they are in bed with. MDF is closer to that nameless organization than I would like to see them be, but clarity on this issue is welcomed.
