That is so McFunny! Nice adlib there Beardown!! What really is funny is that the food industry actually does manufacture a product. Only the ordering and delivery portions can technically be determined to be service related. The preparation of a food end item is indeed a manufacturing function which converts raw materials into a newly identifiable end product or "widget"! These types of jobs probably should be reclassified and if we continue to lose industrialized jobs to offshore or cross-border locations; they probably will.

In an obvious attempt to aplease the illegals that Dubya promised amnesty to, the Bush admin today started pushing through a new bill called the McBill! The bill was made to classify jobs in the fast food industry as manufacturing jobs! Now the illegals can write home and tell everybody how they are in manufacturing! This surely will make them happy and again helps them land just another one of the jobs that millions of americans do not want, especially those pimple faced punks that are still in school! Actually from where I sit I would think this is just a good way to cut the 140,000 factory workers that are unemployed ( in Michigan alone )benifits. Now when they go to get their unemployment the state can just say hey there is factory jobs on virtually every corner!
