Magicman, I have a friend in Pagosa Springs who is an arborist. His home was built from trees felled in the area. He showed me some of the sites right along the main highway that he harvested from....some darned big stumps. Also said he had a guy with a portable sawmill at his home site during construction and your rig made me remember the story...cool stuff.

Those things kick azz! a buddy has one and we sawed 700 board feet of red oak that fell on my land in one day. I had a bedroom set made with it.

Nice choice Magicman. I remember those days well. My Dad used to help off load. Seems like we would always take a lot of loooong breaks and go looking for deer and turkey sign.
Sawed many a board feet on that thing.
