My son Travo was running Yo-Yos on Caddo Lake Saturday night catching a few catfish when he came across a Huge Swamp Rabbit out in the Lake in a group of Cypress Trees. I guess this is one way to not get eaten by the yotes. But in a couple of months when it warms up the Gators might get him. Thought ya'll might like to see a true Swamp Rabbit! John

I've seen a few "Swampers" in the cypress sloughs here in SEMO. That one looks huge, though!
 
That's one big blue tail Stud. I see them swimming across the river every once in a while. Last time I rabbit hunted we were in a brome sedge field of about 6 acres that was wet squishy and got 18 blue tails and 1 cottontail. Never saw so many blue tails in one place.
