I just got home and met with pepper. She whined in happiness. She’s acting like she ran a few ultra marathons back to back.

We lost a Rottweiler in Spokane one time. There for a family reunion. Left her at a relatives house for the day. She got out. It was a frantic search and by luck we found her. She had worn her pads bloody looking for us. Never forget the feeling finding her. mtmuley

Is there a worse feeling than having a missing loved one and not knowing how it will end? What a relief to get her back, thrilled for your family, including the wayward GSP.

Pepper continues to recover. She doesn’t have much energy but not slow enough to worry me. She’s beat from running for 4 days. Body is fine. A little rubbing on one pad and pine pitch is on her hair in several sections. She’ll get a good bath today. Her voice is squeaky probably from barking during her trip. She may never leave our sides again.
