Alright. I’ll post them up. I’m awful at taking field photos cause I’m usually thinking ahead to the work that comes after instead of being fully present in the moment.Congrats man good buck! Wouldn’t mind seeing a few more pics, even if they are gruesome![]()

I agree! It was fun knowing we were tromping around in the same zone with a few property boundaries between us, or on the same property at different times, then sharing a few tales at the end of the day.Hell Yeah! Thanks for all the communication during your hunt and mine, it made it even more fun especially because I knew we were both out there hunting alone. You got a nice one my man!
Now go find an elk!
I’m also available for weddings and bar-mitzvah’s if you think that photography is good.Geez, that picture of it as it lays after you shot it is weird. I had to study it a while to figure out what I was looking at. It looked like there were 2 bucks, one behind the other. There is a sagebrush stick right over the stomach of the deer that looks like another one and the shading on your deer made it look like I could see two deer butts.
Congrats on the buck. Should have this tag coming my family's way in the next couple years.
That's pretty much what I told Beignet when he sent me the pic! I think it made him feel even better, if that was even possible. I know he put the miles in too, glad to see he got rewarded with a nice opportunitySolid buck and right at what I have seen for top end in there. Congrats!
Thanks, fellas! I’m feeling pretty good about the buck that I shot and the whole experience overall. Especially since it was the first time I ever drew a decent tag. Not sure I’ll see another like that through my riflescope anytime soon. That's pretty much what I told Beignet when he sent me the pic! I think it made him feel even better, if that was even possible. Thanks Ben, we are leaving shortly, finally made it back home after a busy field season working in eastern MT/WY. Hopefully she gets one. Took her practicing two nights ago and she can hit good off shooting sticks with the Remington Model 7 .260 Rem to 160 yards, so we have to get relatively close. Thanks, fellas! Hope that if there is an even bigger one someplace in the unit that it gets found by another HT member hunting with their kiddo on the youth tag this weekend.
