It is so hard to tell bears without some sort of reference point! Super nice coat on that one!! I guess if size doesn't matter

Right front paw appears to be pointing pretty much forward and leg appears to be pretty straight. I'd guess it is about a 3 year old and about 175 - 200 lbs. Pigeon toed and bow legged bears are fully mature big heavy bears.

I heard that on Anaimal Planet or TLC or National Geographic or -- or -- Some place?

Well, according to the local expert (a houndsman that has treed hundreds of bears and cats) that bear was a boar 3-4 years old, 5'2" - 5'4" and weighed about 200#'s. I watched him for a while, stalked him a took a few pics... I've watched 7 bears so far this spring, one I'm keeping my eye on...

Here's a bigger one lookin' atcha, if you can spot him...
