Turkey day came and went. My son was home from Bozeman for the long weekend. We hunted Pheasants on Friday but on Saturday he wanted to fill a deer tag.
We had to be back home by 2 pm for some family time that we couldn't get out of. We had permission from a very nice landowner who hadn't let many people on.
Took off from the pickup at about 9 am and at about 10:30 we had a nice mule deer spotted. The problem was that he stayed on the wrong side of the fence for a too long.
Finally at 1 pm this two point popped up right below us and the hunt ended with a happy son, happy dad and happy mom for being on time for family time.
