Lewistown MT.. Bears?

I have to be in Lewistown Friday morning for a coupkle hours of work. I was considering taking the rest of the weekend and scouting/hiking the Snowys for a bear or future bear hunting area. I've spent the last few evenings on google earth, looking over maps and reading on old threads. It sounds like it steep, thick country. I might just pick a trailfhead and start hiking. Any thoughts on areas or places to start. Thanks

Go hike the Uhlhorn Trail. Good place to start. You should be able to make a fun, simple hunt in that area. Good luck,
