is leaving the states,because of the labour costs the last two factorys in San Antonio ar closing, Levis will now be made in Aisa and Europe .
The company cited wage costs in the states as being prohibitive, does anyone know how many Western countrys have closed down factorys and relocated to Aisa, Hell I can name a dozen just here in New Zealand.

That really sucks, you would think that 50 bucks a pair they could afford to stay put.

Do you realy want to make a statement to these company's that pack up and head south or east? Stop buying there damn products. Write to them and let them know that you dont like their decission and tell them you are no longer going to buy their stuff. Maybe they will wake up?
