Well....I made a loop today not through all of region 7 but Colstrip Ashland Broadus Hammond Alzada Devils Tower and then back home to the magic city.

I'm like an Owl when I drive through that country always looking.

Maybe saw 100. Maybe. Watched a kid shoot one off the fence in the borrow pit today. Pretty sweet

No. The numbers got crushed in the back to back bad winters of 2011-2012. I could be a year off. We have not had good numbers since. I believe they didn’t even adjust tags the next year because “they aren’t into knee jerk reactions”

Out of curiosity, any idea on what this one scores? Definitely not my best goat but had a hard time finding big goats this year. 16" on the right side where the bit of 'ivory' isn't broken off. Killed in the van Norman area while scouting 652 as I drew that permit this year.

Not enough mass to score well. Good goat for Montana though, especially these days.
