I have a classic 1972 (i.e. the floating "J" serial number) S&W Model 36, .38 snubby. Still all original, even the grips too!

I chatted with the FFL guy, and all he could tell me was that, yes, it actually was a real LEO's backup piece back in '72 based out of Ocala, Florida. Pocket holster? Ankle holster? Who knows how detectives carried these... But it's incredible and "hides" anywhere and nobody knows a thing!

This one is my trapline gun. Model 34 S&W 22LR. I bought it new in 1985. I made the holster about 30 years ago. It’s got some miles on it. This is one gun I’ll never part with…

I just picked up another S&W .38 special snubby for $300 a couple hours ago.
Can't go wrong at that price and I'm a big fan of anything S&W.
