Leg Gaiters with led lights, anyone

i see gaiters with leds on them, anyone use them, wondering what that makes a dark trail look like vs headlamp ,

But in all seriousness, I don’t see how it would be a great idea. I would think they’d be more prone to slip down rendering the light kind of useless. Mud and tall grass/brush would do the same.

I want the light where I am looking not always at my feet. This seems completely unnecessary and kind of pointless. Seems more prone to causing more issues than it solves. I've been wrong about gear before though.

I have a guy at work that probably has a pair! If they are expensive and made by sitkuilite or other big brands, I guarantee he’d buy them

Maybe you have green on one side and red on the other so you know who the give way hiker is.

In that case you’d have to have a white light on your rear end so the other hiker knows when you are past.
