Guys,
A buddy of mine just released his first hunting DVD, "Layin' It Down". This DVD includes 9 hunts, and is jam full of action packed goodness!
This is my buddy Mike's baby, I was just along for the ride. He has been filming hunts for quite awhile, but this DVD was all shot in 2008. Most of it was shot in Montana with some great elk and mule deer, but it also includes an Alaska bear hunt, and a BC Canada moose hunt.
The bear hunt was actually filmed by yours truly, and features the 8'2" blackie my buddy Chris took on our DIY Prince of Wales trip. You might remember the pics of that stud boar I posted last spring.
Mike was also nice enough to include the footage from my Canada moose hunt in BC. This was a challenge as I served as both the cameraman and the hunter, but I think it turned out alright. This is actually the only hunt on the whole DVD that was guided, the rest is all DIY. Some of you might remember that I won this trip through my job, and it was the first guided hunt I had ever been on.
To top it all off, you will get to see Mike and his wife Leslie take P&Y bulls ON THE SAME DAY! After a long hard season, they both connected while I was in Canada chasing moose. Then, the hunting gods smiled on me again as I closed out the archery season with my best bull to date, at 360".
This is NOT a Hollywood production... just a couple of real people doing what we like to do. You can check it out at www.20sub3.com if you are interested. There is even a little video teaser posted there to give you a taste of what is included on the DVD.
