Late Season Geese

Not much of a goose hunter, although it's one of my favorite things to do. Just the way the private property is it's difficult to get on geese around the Treasure Valley unless your really committed, much more so than me.

I got invited out to a couple good fields right in town the last week of the season. A real treat as I can count the number of geese I have killed on 2 hands practically.

I slapped together a quick little 3 minute go-pro video just for fun. Nothing fancy just put the clips together, you might not want to waste your time. Sorry for the BS flashing across the video, still waiting on Adobe CS6 to finish downloading.

Yeah that was my first time hunting out of a pit. I wish I could call it my own blind... I'm right there with ya rocking the burlap and mesh decoys bags hiding in the ditch normally.

They took like 200 geese out of that field in 2 weeks or so, insane.

So you must have been shooting a majority of them as the big flocks skipped us and headed towards Centennial HS!
