Hey all,
My dad and I both drew a tag in unit 5A for late season this fall. Our plan is to arrive the week before season to get boots on the ground and behind some glass. From my research, the unit doesn't offer of a ton of scouting opportunities from Google maps or Onx as most of the topography looks similar with lot of roads and junipers. I understand deep and steep is where the old bulls hunker down for the late part of season, but wondering if there might be any specific canyons that hold more potential (less road access, steeper, nastier, feed, water) that you might care to share?
I appreciate any feedback you all may have and any pointers you can point me toward until we can get down there.
Thank you,
