The ender of the Cali H20fowl season at the Yolo bypass...buddies Chessie with the days work. Lots of blue sky and not much rain this year. That's the outskirts of the state capitol (Sacramento) in the back right of that second picture.

Marv, my brother came back from his drunk, er, oops- DUCK club in Calusa and said the same thing. Hope we get some rain in Feb. He still shot a few beautiful Woodies, though.

Old Woodie blends right into that dead grass/reeds...he's a bit tubby for this late in the year but that keeps him warm. My Chessie is home humping everything in the back yard and bleeding like a stuck pig. Was gonna have her bred this go-around but couldn't line up a stud in time... and Moosie was busy
