I shot this butterball this evening at 253 yards. The shot went through the spine at the top of the shoulders. The bullet blew through the spine. I only lost a couple inches off the front of the back straps. This was a Speer Gold Dot, 140 grain, at 2740 FPS muzzle velocity from my Creed. After killing five deer with it, I am fairly impressed.
