Laser eye surgery

I hunted with a guy who was in great shape, but had similar eye problems. He was a great hunting partner because he never killed much on his own but was always there to pack out an elk for you. Then he had eye surgery. All of a sudden he could see the elk before they saw him and he started filling one tag after another. And I had to help pack 'em out. Just one anecdote, but I know my buddy never regretted his surgery for a minute. Good luck!

It's been a few weeks since I read through this so apologize if somebody posted it and I've forgotten. Have any of you had mono-vision done, with one eye for far and one for near? How about under correction for your non-dominant eye for better vision at about arm's length? I had a consultation this week and both of those were mentioned as options in addition to correcting both to be far-sighted.
