Chukar Dog Injury

I wrote this after losing one of my dogs, she got to hunt the last day of her life...

Puppies come and grow so fast but chew so much. There is potty, obedience, and retrieving training. Then there are introductions to birds and guns and putting it all together . For a short window they are in their prime and life is great. Before you know it they start to slow and white whiskers appear. At the end, all I want is one more flush (or point), one more retrieve, and 5 more minutes with my bird dog.
