I can assure that without Alex Sienkiewicz pushing this and sticking his neck out, it would not have gotten done. He is one of those USFS employees who needs a raise and a lot more accolades than where he currently gets.

I am working in a project with him that I started on twenty years ago. I look at the file and it has so many past USFS employees that could not get it across the finish line. He is doing amazing work to not let it fall through the cracks, as it would be a huge loss of public access if this were to not get completed. I am very impressed with him and his commitment to public access.
