Knocked Up...now on video

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, and I don't understand what many thought made it so vulgar in the theatre (ok, ok the birthing scene may have been a bit much...).

The characters were great in this movie and it was written better than anything I've viewed in a long, long time. This flick even gave my wife and I a "coming to Jesus" moment during the whole "F* YOU HORMONES" scene. Maybe it was just me but the parallels to emotional reality during this movie were spot on in my experience (as my wife and I are 18 weeks in to the pregnancy).

Heck, I can relate a bit to Scott (Debbies Husband) a la when he gets caught cheating on her with non-destructive personal time.

I give it 4 out of 5 moosie spikes and a must-see recomendation.

I went to a "Shotgun Wedding" this past Friday, I wanted to give that as a Wedding Gift. My wife's eyes shot molten lava at me and I decided not to. Party Pooper! John

Yeah, I thought the birthing scene was something out of the discovery channel, but otherwise it was pretty funny.
