Actually, being cooler than me is a very low bar. Gus cleared that like Javier Sotomayor jumps over a crack in the floor.
Young Dusty aspires to coolness, but he lacks even one serious bone in his body. But he's a happy dude.

Beautiful rifle. Muzzleloaders are foreign to me except for new inlines, and I've built a few smokeless ones for customers. I recently had a local organization ask me to "build" a traditional muzzleloader for a raffle. I've ordered a Traditions kit (starting out on the cheap), but in the last two weeks I've found myself on the Kibler website multiple times, looking at their kits to build one for myself. Again, you have a beautiful rifle there!

Having awful results at 100 yds.
There are a plethora of factors to consider. Facing a list of things to check. Fingers crossed.

Curious what the load was? I have a Green River Leman in 58. The load data I received with the rifle was surprising to me. The medium load for it was 175 grains of Goex 2f. I used that load with a tight patch and a .570 ball. It was the load I stayed with as it gave me a 3 shot group at a 100 yards that was under 2 inches at point of aim. Most people will say that is way too much powder but the results were good so I stayed with it. It also had load data for other calibers for their rifles. If your interested I can pass the info on to you for the 54.
