Keys to an all day sit

I wouldn’t give up coffee for them on a daily basis but getting the taste and kick of it in the stand without the risk of side effects in the tree is nice! I would take them over a lot of the instant coffee I’ve had

No sudden “uh oh, gotta poop” feelings? Lol

Staying warm is inportant. Warm feet and hands are key. I do that with hand and foot warmers if it’s cold. Being realistic is important too. If the wind chill is below zero, pulling off an all day may be tough. It gets easier the more you do it. I love all day sits now

Those hand warmers have never done a damn thing for my feet. Its like they don't work in my boots and they also make umthen uncomfortable as he'll. Maybe Im doing something wrong or using the wrong ones?

I have experienced that as well. I like to get them out early and good and toasty before I put them in there. Seems like if I just put them in right away they don’t warm up. Not getting oxygen maybe? Not sure. So I usually just throw in some hand warmer ones in my pocket before I start walking to my stand once I’m on stand or to my stand, slide them in to my boots so they are at my toes. Maybe try that

Thanks. I will. Funny, when I was younger my hands used to freeze now I hardly wear gloves even handling duck decoys at sub freezing temps, a simple pocket suffices for heat. But my feet do get cold on stand.

LaCross Iceman felt boots, I got this big ass hunting cushion for Christmas few years back, laughed at it until I sat on it!

Turkey seat to get off ground and still keep low. Water with Propel flavors for cramping. Love venison jerky, sticks, magnum candy bars, cashews. PBJ!!!! Fleece Neck gaiter which is like adding another layer. Camera, not phone but decent compact. I like to take composed photos sometimes. Hand muff versus hand warmers, good fleece or sherpa lined, huge for me to not have to wear bulky gloves. Mine also has hand warmer liner to load up if needed but so far not needed. Small compact binos to just look at chit.

Wad of heavy duty paper towels and Wet Ones. Much more "efficient".

Really well built hand truck to carry everything.....😂

These adhesive heat packs work great especially on base layer by kidneys. I found them years ago to help with lower back issues.

I use these jokers (the Megas) with very good success.

I take gloves but have found I really don't use them in the stand. Keep my hands in a pocket that is close to the body.....warms the hands and my torso. Also, another vote for comfy seat/position. Cold will never bother me as much as horrible wind-no fan of that. I think for next year I am going to search for the best pair of heated socks I can find. Feet are the only part that ever really betray me. When I leave Redman's house I head to the same gas station, get a little debbie fudge round, a 32 oz Diet Mountain Dew and listen to Q95 on the way to the farm ;) Occasionally the tall grass/CRP at the far end of the farm by the property line MAY get a deposit before I walk in.
