Killed this gobbler this afternoon. Hit the Crystal call at 4:48 and killed him at 5:00! He and another gobbler came in and flogged my Jake decoy. They sure were beautiful to watch. 20 pounds, 1” spurs, and 11” beard. Franchi Affinity 20 gauge with Federal Heavyweight 7.

Nice bird! Love the 20 gauge and Fed HW 7’s!
Me too BF! I actually prefer the HW to the TSS loads. You wouldn’t happen to know where I could find some do you? They’ve been out of production for a while, but there were still some 12 gauge loads for sale on line a couple months ago. I’m not holding my breath though.

Well done! Shot my first this year with HW #7s in 20ga. Worked slick. Got lucky and scored 5 boxes of 2.75" HW#7s last year for the Ithaca my sons use. Looks like I'll be having to go to TSS as well since the HW is non-obtanium. At the rate I shoot turkeys, the 3 boxes of 3" shells I have should last more than a decade...
