Anyone else headed to Kansas next week? I'm so excited it's making it hard to concentrate on the turkey. At least watching the Cowboys thump the Raiders this afternoon will take my mind off of huge whitetails.

Kansas really doesn't have any big deer(the mountain lions that are not in the state must have ate them). It is a waste of money to come here in search of a big boy.

Mr. Byrd- I hunted birds around Dodge about 4 years ago. Definitely some interesting country you call home! Only place I've gotten the pleasure to see folks hunting coyotes with greyhounds. Quite the sight.

Yeppers! We saw a few while out chasing praire chickens, but nothing the size that KS is famous for. 'Course we spent most of our time up around Jetmore in picked milo fields looking for birds. That was a good hunt though.
