Replacing the batteries in my 6.6 Duramax today has me thinking about picking up a NOCO GB150 for it's bug out kit...anyone have input

I have the 6.6 Duramax, and purchased one after replacing the two batteries last November. I have been very pleased.

Have a NOCO GB40 in the Jeep....thanks for the replies, taking the plunge for the diesel. We just returned from a 1200 mile trip weekend before last & both truck batteries died on me yesterday...a wakeup call.

Luckily mine died on me at home before a hunting trip to SC and a young kid that drove a WRX was visiting a friend in the neighborhood and I asked if he cared to jump the truck (I had cables). He grabbed a jumpstarter not much bigger than an iPhone and jumped off my diesel. That was what got me thinking about them. I think I got them during either Prime or Black Friday but have used it a good bit. The GB150 was what I purchased, and I have a 6.6 Duramax.

Have a couple of the GB150s. Works as it should. 6.7 Powerstroke no issues.

had to look that up. looks like they are getting smaller. I have taken to bringing a back up battery
on hunting trips. use it for the winch and other power items. not ideal tho

I want to add an old beater diesel with a manual transmission to the fleet some day, I like those old Dodges. I might have a lead on a 7.3 Powerstroke though…
5speed with only 100k on in. Pulls like a champ

I have used it on 24v systems for a little extra and it has worked well.

The research I did led me down the path to this one as well. A bit nervous leaving the new truck in -20 temps for a few days going on a cabin trip this winter. probably take the jumper to the cabin to keep it warm just in case, if anything I can charge my phone to call a tow truck.
