My thermometer still says 49 degrees outside, its 81 degrees in my house. WTH!!!!

Helped a buddy set trusses today, was mucking around in an inch of mud from the ground thawing out. Listened to a flock of turkeys carrying on like its April.

Can I just go bear hunting tomorrow?

No kidding.The mud is a mess, makes hiking a pain, and driving all but impossible.

Guess it's better than Friday though, hiking around all day in knee deep snow and 40 degree pouring rain.

Its been really warm down here too. My wife is in Florida right now and its colder there than it is here.

Funny how when its cold people poo poo global warming, but when its 30+ degree's above normal temps its just abnormal weather.

I am actually loving it. At least the poor frickin ungulates are getting a break this year. Should help a ton as far as numbers and fawns go this spring.

So no thanks, I'll keep it. Just won't turn the fire up so much. sheesh.

It's rather odd...feels like a dry September or October here. While I wish we were getting hammered with snow, at least I don't have to use the snowblower!

Well I jinxed this years poor snow year by buying a new(to me) snowmobile last spring. Haven't been riding yet! We need to get some snow soon or this whole NW country will be a tinder box come May 1st.
