Is your mall crawler ready to go?

I ordered a Cerakote headlight restoration kit before I left in my elk hunt. It was here when I got home so I did that this morning. Pretty good results, not perfect.

This happened right before I got home.

Good to know. I've been meaning to do my headlights on my Tundra for a while now but haven't gotten around to it. Looks like mine are about the same condition yours were. This is gonna be a weekend project now.

I like the trekking pole holding up the hood, too.

For $20 I figured it was worth a try. I spent a lot of time on the prep sanding.
I finally replaced mine after a couple refin jobs.
I can see. Clean non leds.
Added a led bar to Tacoma and F150 too. Ford got led replacements.
1998 Tacoma 368K now. Still humming along on original eng.

4.8 Liters of Freedom just turned 280K last week. The check engine lights been on for 120,000 miles. Allegedly, someone left last year's snow tires on her this summer because they're broke. This fall I'll point her to the mountains and prairies and say a prayer, turn the music up to ignore the sounds and roll the windows down to ignore the smells, and see what happens.

We are over 290K now. Same snow tires that have been on her for the last 2 years remain. Studs are now innies instead of outies. I no longer take her further than 30 or so miles from home. Radio don't work no more, nor does any air but defrost - but what else do you need? Such a state of affairs is somewhat symbiotic, since the headphones I wear while driving drown out the mind-warping and neverending tic-tic of a ruinous exhaust manifold leak. Check engine light starts blinking going up Boulder Hill, but goes back to solid on the downhill side. Everyone needs a breather sometime. Wife refuses to drive her. That said, still got 4-wheel drive and a willingness. Just gotta get her to 300K, and a little November blood in the back seems a good salve to carry it through.
