Is this legal?

I wouldn't think so, but the lady in the article seemed kinda flaky. I know a few cops, and they love to go to gun shows, off duty usually means plain clothes, and if they run into other cops there is usually a big gathering of them. I think the whole "background check" thing is just the organizer trying to get the gubermint to compensate her for a failed show. I'd need to see more proof then her statement in the paper.

I've never had an FFL, but I do go to lots of guns shows, and I can say I've never seen anything like that before. NUT, donuts must have been free down at the Crispy Creme.
