Is the Outdoorsman tripod worth it?

I have the medium Outdoorsmans and their pistol grip. I absolutely love it. Simple, rock solid, and very high quality. It's the 2nd tripod I've purchased and it'll probably be the last. No need to ever try another.

Vanaguard 264AO has all of the features and more that you could want without breaking your bank. Yes, it may be ounces heavier but are ounces really worth $600+ dollars more? Oh and it works fantastic in snow, ice, boiling heat, and rain.

I will add though, that you cannot beat the outdoorsmans binocular adapter system though, by far the most stable, simplest, and strongest adapter out there.
