for 3k you could do a tahr n wallabies,,fallow and maybe chamois hunt here in nz,,thats every yr,,down to 2k once you get to know your way around

Or the cost of food if you use points to buy your flight and know where you can camp

Walked away from 7 or 8 moose points and 6 sheep points in WY this year when I moved away. Think I did the math and if prices stayed the same I'd be $2K into points, plus the ~$2K tag if/when I drew. For me, there were better investments with that money elsewhere.
