Not I. "live" hunts = gay.

It's sad people can't even go a few days w/o internet and such.

I agree that if you can't function without technology for a couple days then you've got some sort of addiction problem. I was simply pointing out that it does happen and I've been on some of the hunts and it didn't seem to interfere or spoil the hunt for me.

I used a laptop in camp for topo programs, uploading trail cam pics etc. in the past. In the field, or coming back to a cold camp in late fall or winter, seems like the battery would be toast. Cold temps seem to both wipe out the battery and cause most laptops, etc. to not function.

I have been deadset against getting an ipad. But I may have to reconsider. How water resistant is the ipad? Can you get a waterproof cover for it? I heard yesterday that the new ipad would be out before long.

This is the exact reason why our forefathers left their laptops, cellphones,ipads, and such home while they went hunting.
